L\u2019opera si rese necessaria per i gravi problemi di stabilit\u00e0 della vecchia chiesa, che fu chiusa definitivamente ai fedeli nel 1921. Il 30 settembre dell\u2019anno successivo venne posata e benedetta la prima pietra del nuovo edificio, l\u2019unico in Valpolicella con <strong>volta a cupola<\/strong>.<\/p><p>I parrocchiani parteciparono alla costruzione del tempio con spontanee elargizioni.<\/p><p>Gli interni furono decorati e affrescati tra il 1944 e il 1947 dal pittore veronese Aldo Tavella e dal decoratore Ettore
